This helmet is Snell SA2020 Certified and made of lightweight Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) composite shell, providing a high level of safety. It is also equipped with Double D-rings and is compatible with HANS/HNR M6 Threaded Inserts (sold separately), allowing you to easily install Head & Neck Support devices for added protection during auto racing.

The visor of the Model 890 features a 40mm sunshade film on the top to reduce glare and improve visibility while racing. The high-density Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) fire retardant inner pads offer enhanced comfort and safety in the event of an accident.

For added convenience, tear-off posts can be easily installed on the visor to ensure a clear line of sight based on the racer's requirements. It is important to note that this helmet is designed specifically for automobile racing and is not US DOT approved for use on public streets, roads, or highways. However, it meets all requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Standard (FMVSS) 218.
